Boston Birthday Part I

I went up to Boston this past Saturday to visit some friends and to partake in a birthday bash for my friend Sarah (SKIMILKART). I brought the portable light kit and went to town with my Mamiya and Nikon. Focusing the lens was not an easy task under the influence of alcohol. I tried to get one of everybody but I ran out of film. Here are the results from the Mamiya, Fuji FP-100C instant film.

Westport Bunch

My friends rented a beach house in Westport, MA for a week. We had a photoshoot the first night there. Unfortunately I lost all my digital files because of a busted SD card. Fortunately I took these polaroids with my Mamiya. Mike took mine.

Backdrops In!

My backdrops came in today. I got Super White, Charcoal, and Blue Jay. I fooled around with the kit and the Blue Jay paper backdrop today. I had to use myself as a model again, I'll have to get the help from some friends soon. Here's one I shot today.

Light Kit

So I just got a new light kit. 2 Flashpoint II 620M's, a 36"x36" Softbox, 2 shoot-thru umbrellas, a snoot and a background support stand. I just bought some rolls of seamless paper today. I haven't had much time to play around with it yet but I did spend a few minutes getting these shots today. I am excited to try and learn some setups with this kit. Once my backdrops arrive I will be posting more.

120. Finally

I finally got my first rolls of 120 processed and most came out pretty well. They were all rolls of Kodak Portra 400NC. I lost 3 exposures but it's all good. Here are my favorites.

BBQ Season

Got to hang out in Little Compton recently with some friends. We grilled and played Polish horseshoes and it was awesome. I am really digging this Fuji instant film, need to clean my scanner though.

I visited Tiverton for the weekend to see the family. My package of color film was delivered to the wrong address. The guy gave me a call to let me know he had it and left his mud room unlocked so I could go pick it up. Thanks Anthony Poirier. Shame on you United States Postal Service.
